After years of supplying tower packings in standard bulk bags, The Pall Ring Company has taken it upon themselves to design "euro bulk bags".

The dimensions of these new bags means we can now stack them neatly onto euro pallets which fit perfectly into road transport trailers. This means that less space is wasted and more product is transported.

The Pall Ring Company is happy to announce the purchase of 2 new high speed moulding tools.

The first purhcased was a multi impression 2" Pall Ring tool, with the increased production we are now able to mould over 10m3 of 2" Pall Rings a day.

Due to recent demand it was also decided that The Pall Ring Company should purchase a multi impression astraPAK tool. The capabilities of this new tool means that daily production is 8m3 a day.

The purhcase of both these new tools is just another step in The Pall Ring Company goal of becoming a leading supplier of tower packings in Europe

UK major supplier of internals & random packings for scrubbing, odour control and stripping towers are currently building a new moulding facility near King's Lynn, Norfolk. With the advent of fully computerised machines, the plant runs 24 hours 7 days per week. With extremely low overheads and "lean" manufacturing techniques, random tower packings are now the most competitive in Europe.

With the increase in demand for low cost high quality random tower packings in plastics materials, the Pall Ring Company has recently installed a further two hgh output injection moulding units to ensure the current surge in demand is met.

The range of Pall Rings & other random packing systems now available include sizes from 16mm diameter to 90mm diameter in Polypropylene, PVDF, PVCu and CPVC togther with a range of Bio media packings.

Currently a new product, AstraPAK® is coming into production during March. This packing allows both high gas and liquor flows with very low pressure drop.

AstraPAK® will be available in polypropylene and PVDF. It is 90mm diameter x 30mm in thickness and is supplied in either 100 litre bags, 1 cubic metre or 2 cubic metre Euro bags with discharge tubes in the base.

The Pall Ring Company also offered a complete service of tower internals including custom designed distributors, gas injection support plates and redistributors in Polypropylene, PVDF, PVCu, CPVC and stainless steel and demisters in polyproylene & stainless steel. The company has an “in house” computer design facility to optimise designs all internals are specifically designed for your application.

With over half the current production destine for export markets, the Pall Ring Company anticipates further expansion during the third quarter of 2006 and is currently building a new production facility.

HC Two has been manufacturing plastic pall rings and a limited range of tower internals from their small Wolverhampton workshops since the late 1980’s. Animal care products compliment these products. With the demand growing for both types of products, the Directors have decided to split the two distinct types of products and operate as separate companies. This split will assist in focusing on the specific markets with increased efficiencies. The Pall Ring Company will manufacture an extended range of tower internals and will not be confined to random packings.

Arrangements are in hand to relocate the Pall Ring Company to larger premises. To keep costs to a minimum the Director, Richard Johnson, has selected a low cost area on the Cambridgeshire / Norfolk border near King’s Lynn. An office is already operational and it is anticipated the factory area will be complete in the next few months. The factory area will be three times the size of the existing HC Two facility. All sales and technical enquiries and orders are to be handled through this office.

Director, Richard Johnson, considers this restructuring and relocation essential to ensure the company remains highly competitive in the market place. Being a bulky commodity, the site was not only chosen because of the low cost of industrial land and building costs, but also to ensure that major existing mainland European customers can be serviced at the lowest possible transport costs.

The Pall Ring Company is determined to remain an extremely low overhead company thus retaining their already highly competitive prices.
